Oberheim OB-1 /ca3080e filter question

   One thing is for sure, Oberheim did indeed have a specification for 
matching the 3080's that went into the old synths.  My OB-X's are chock 
full of orange and yellow dotted 3080's.
   While I was building my LFO circuits a few months back, I discovered 
that some of the 3080E's are indeed different, different enough that I 
couldn't use them in my design! (Well...not without modification).  
Anyhoo, I don't have any documentation regarding matching 3080's so I 
can't be of much help in telling you how they did it.
   Most likely you won't notice much difference, but then again...
