There's a program called Cloud Generator, which can be downloaded for free
from Keyboard's web site (www.keyboardmag.com).

The article also mentioned Kyma (www.symbolicsound.com) which runs
under Windows and on the Mac, and SuperCollider
(ftp://kahless.isca.uiowa.edu/pub/algo-comp/SuperColliderDemo.sea.hqx)
which runs on a PowerMac.
