ROLAND MC-8 NEEDS CABLE AND MANUAL

I am in need of two items vis a vis the ROLAND MC-8 MICROCOMPOSER:

1.  the interface cable: where can i get one? it seems horribly
proprietary, and
according to two electronics shops, obsolete and gone, gone, gone....any

thoughts, other than the last ditch effort of rewiring the interface, on
dealing
with this major problem?

2. a manual, or at least some general directions on how to program and
run the
thing!

Obviously, i've got the programmer and the interface but lack the above
two
items...the archives seem grossly malnourished concerning this beastly
thing,
so any input is greatly appreciated....
