juno 106 pitch bend

The joy stick on my juno 106 does not work, any body know how to fix this?
It will pitch bend under midi controll, but the joystick is shot.
I opened it up and the pot reads infinate ohms on my meter (ie.open circuit)
I wanted to replace the pot, but i can't figure out how to remove it from the joy stick 
assembly. Any Ideas?
