converting CS5 from hz to volts

(i've checked the archives and can't find an answer to this:)

is there an easy way to mod a yamaha cs5 to accept "standard" 
cv/gate control (from a kenton pro2, arp, etc) instead of its stock
hz/oct and -10 trig? my kenton (and obviously my arp sequencer)
lack this option, and the cs5 behaves strangely with the s-trigger...

matt haines seem very up on this, but i can't locate him...
