Off topic digital help needed

I plan to build a delay similar to this except it will sync to DIN Sync.
No CPU should be required - all you need to do is replace the clock
generator in your delay with the oscillator output of a phase-lock loop
IC. The phase comparator should be fed with the incoming sync pulse (or
midi clock turned into a sync pulse) and a suitably divided-down output
of the PLL oscillator for the note length of delay you want.
I haven't done a schematic for this yet - maybe one day...
