There is a magazine called " Electronic Design " which comes out once
every other week. It is a trade publication meaning that it is free
but it takes some time to track down and get a subscription.
( Trade Publications are funded entirely by their advertising - they
justify their ad rates be being able to show detailed "statistics" of
who their "qualified readers" are. )
The best thing about this 'zine is that Bob Pease has a column every
issue. The other best thing is that they do a suplemental " Special
Analog Issue " every few months.
This month's issue is a doozy!
Page 11 - Analog Switching in Low-Voltage, High-Performance Systems
meaning routing and switching high-quality audio with minimal
distortion. The author works for Maxim so he touts their products but
he gives a good analysis of what is needed and how much better current
products are then the "venerable" 4066

how to get a good analogue ground when you have nasty digital stuff in
the same system
Page 40 - Tame Your High-Speed Switching Amplifier Circuit Designs
which outlines Class-D Amp design and talks about a chip designed for
audio - sub-woofers???
An article on digital resistors and their use in audio

Walt Jung - need I say more? <grin>
A few circuit details such as 4-Quadrant Analog Multiplication to +/-

ring modulator anyone? <g>
Anyway, this will not be sold in magazine stores. You might want to
check any local trade school or college - their engineering or
electronic library will most likely have copies.
The magazine itself is published by:

Say that you are a "consultant" or a "design engineer" and want to
get a "Trade Subscription"
