Much the same thing happened to me with my weirded "Moog 25" which uses a
*quad* supply of the classic +12 / -6 *plus* +/- 15.
I was playing along and all ov a sudden I had a 60hz tone at the output of
EVERY module. ie, you could plug the VCF straight into a mixer and hear a
60hz tone.
The -6 supply had gone south, and the -6 rail now had a 60hz AC signal
modulated on top of it. Nice...

What I did was buy a International Power +/-15 supply and then build a
daughter board using a LM317K and a LM337K to step me down to +12 / -6. The
daughter board brings out 4 taps, +15, +12, -6 and -15.
