Erik,

The polyfusion 2030 is a "Variable Formant Filter".  At least, that's what
*they* called it.  It, however, appears to be nothing more than a three-band
parametric equalizer, with controls for Frequency, "Q" (bandwidth), and
Level.  The three frequency bands are:  60-250Hz, 250-1kHz, and 1k-4kHz.  I'm
not sure, but I think that the Level controls are "boost-only" types.  They
also made a 2032, which was a five-band Parametric EQ.  Each band on the 2032
had a cut/boost switch, allowing you to cut or boost up to 12dB.
