Belix PSUs??

Hi..

I've just picked up a huge Belix linear power supply, type SP429. I'm
assured it works; the last test sticker on it is dated 1970 ( :) ). It
seems to supply +5.5V, +/-15V and +25V. Mains input has a 5A fuse, and
all outputs are adjustable. There's trip switch too.

I've no idea yet how good the regulation is; guess I'll fire it up this
evening and measure things after it's warmed up.

My guess is that with something of this age, it will be worth replacing
a lot of the capacitors (particularly the reservoir caps, six of them,
2500uF, 40V) due to old age. Is this a reasonable assumption?

Any advice appreciated.
