I drive my modular gear off of a Kenton Pro4 which sits in my MIDI mass of
devices. Since the modulars are of in the "Modular Closet" away from my
master keyboard, I run a small Novation MM-10x with an Anatek Pocket Merger
as well. The MM-10x sits in front of the modulars and lets me work out
lines and sounds while I'm knob twiddling. When it comes time to record, I
can go hit record and then stay there, or I can go back to the master
keyboard.
