Shawn,

Assuming you're talking about polophony.. I believe that the ASM-1 is a
single voice, but you can combine more than one of them to have multiple
voices. Taken from a web page on the asm-1:

<snip>
The ASM-1 Analog Synthesizer Module was created for a few reasons:

   1.I wanted to build a manually-patched polyphonic analog music
synthesizer for my own
     use, having given up hope of finding an old Oberheim 8-voice for a
couple of hundred
     bucks. Making a circuit board for each voice is only marginally
crazzy - making the
     whole thing on vectorboards would be totally crazy. I'm only
marginally crazy.
<snip>

I have a paia midi->cv and love it.. I would think that the paia box would
be perfect, since it has an option for multiple voices by just setting the
dip switch on the front. The entire kit is a snap to set up and use. BTW
for those who suggested that I use it for drum triggers, that worked out
*great* with the midwest analog products drum boxes. Cheap as hell
(30-50$), the adv-bass makes a nice kick and the snare makes a really nice
static bleep. (I can't really call it a 'snare' in good concience,
however, although it's a pretty description.. it's really, well, analog.)

Quick plug for midwest analog: Nice blokes, ship your order fast, easy to
build provided you have tools for making your own rack panels.

Andrew
