Casiotone MT-30 ... Anybody done anything with these?

I have a Casiotone MT-30 in good running order.  It actually has some
nice sounds, but the keyboard sux.  I peeked at the circuit board and
it looks like there are places to (maybe) to solder connections to an
interface (of mad scientist design) for each of the keys...  Have any
of you done any DIY stuff with this synth?  It is 2.5 octaves and (I
think) 8 note poly.
