PolySix

Hello chaps (is it me, or aren't there any women building synths out 
there?),

I was lucky enough to buy a Korg PolySix yesterday. Now, all the 
oscillators and filters etc seem to be working, but the sound isn't 
quite what you'd expect. The oscillators produce this raw, 
not quite evenly pitched sound. It's as if something is 
modulating the VCO's, but I can't figure out what. Moreover, the 
waveform and octave-knobs don't seem to be working.
Now, has anyone out there have a service manual for me to copy? I'd 
be willing to pay for postage and copying, of course. And I'd be 
eternally grateful to whoever supplies me with this information ...
