Reminds me of my first homemade MIDI motherkeyboard. The beast wasn't a total
technical success, but it did have a couple of cool features.
A MIDI merge that really worked and a couple of joysticks and fader pots that
transmitted Continous Controller messages. The update rate changed
with the available MIDI bandwidth (you'll never hog the MIDI bus with
controller messages since MIDI clock and Note On/Off have send priority).
When I hooked up this mother(keyboard) to my Obiee Matrix-6, great things
happened!
It brings you close to the tone control that a guitarist experiences...
