Funny you should mention this....  I am sort of designing a box just
like this, but for CV stuff.  The PC joystick port supporst 4 axese(sp?)
and 4 switches, which I was going to bring out as 4 -5v CVs, and 4 gates.
(or maybe gate/triggers).

Pretty simple for analog stuff, and potentially a lot of fun
