Howdy DIYers -

I just received a bag of 100 shiny new 1K, 3500ppm/C, 1% tempco resistors.

I will be mailing them today or tomorrow to those who've already sent me
checks.

If anyone who has not gotten a faceplate wants some, I've got plenty of
extras, they're $5 a piece.
I have tested them in the ASM-1 and they work perfectly.

On a related topic, I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in an
"expansion pod" for the ASM-1. I'm thinking of having another faceplate
made - same style - same material, etc. I was only going to have a couple
made for myself, but I figure it'd be more cost effective if others wanted
'em. I hate to be un-diplomatic(?) about it, but this is really for stuff
I'd really like to see, and it's very much geared towards my own tastes and
circuits - so I will understand if no one's interested.
Here's the specifics;
- 2 rack spaces (it's gonna be tight!) with panel markings for the
following;
-    Envelope follower
-    CV mixer
-    Ring Mod.
- sine and tri outputs for an existing ASM-1 VCO (they'll line up with
the existing VCO if you mount this panel under an ASM-1 panel).
- CV-able AD / AR / Slew Lim module of my own design - very similar to
half of a Serge Dual Slope Generator
- CV-able audio mixer with CV pan and CV gain
I can provide schems for everything - but NO PCB LAYOUTS OR CIRCUIT BOARDS!
(If someone else wants to do this - I'd love it) - I usually build all my
stuff on protoboard. I may actually do a PCB for some of this - but
probably not...

I figure one of these panels would be useful for every pair of ASM-1s.

Price may actually be higher than the other faceplates - because I don't
expect I will have more than 5 or 10 made (yeah - would that make it a
collector's item? - hell, I'll quadruple the price! :)

I have a preliminary gif done if anyone's curious.....
