Hey, this is confusing. Someone has to post a list of
common opamps, with their main parameters
like offset, slew rate, input impedance, drive capabillity!
(I was also wrong with the OP-07 - joachim corrected me
with the slew rate)

Absolutely right. Don't use it here.

But the TL081 has rather poor offset values.
So my suggestion would be: Use OP-07 where offset is important,
but not slew rate: S&H stages.
And use TL081 (or its low noise version TL071) where offset is no
problem, but high slew rate is important: Audio stages.

BTW, if you use the NE5534, don't forget to use external
compensation capacitors. (Maybe you can just leave the 301's
caps in, but please check this.)

PS.: I knew about the poor output stage of the CA3140, but I didn't
       know of general poor adio quality. Can you tell me what you mean?
