The CA3140's are great op-amps but they will not drive a 1K output load. If you
look in the spec sheet everything is spec'd for a 2K minimum load. They WILL
clip your waveforms if used as an output stage. Electronotes published a timbre
modulator based on this shortcoming. Be warned.
