It's a specific printer problem most likely... for those of you who are
thinking of buying a HP Laserjet 5L, I suggest that you don't. It's the
first printer from them that I have heard massive reports on the paper
jamming. My brother, in fact, found the jamming problem to be so bad
that he sent his back for a Laserjet 4L... I don't know whether they
have corrected the problem (HP was aware of it when my brother got the
printer), but this sounds like they really haven't... either get an old
4L (300dpi only, though) or save up for a 5P... or choose something
other than HP.

I haven't used PnP, but I've printed other custom things on my 4L, and
it seems to work fine.
