Actually, I just made a Matrix 1000 editor, it's still in beta and
consequently I haven't registered all the OCX controls yet, but
everything appears to work fine with a couple of exceptions... Anyone
who wants to try it out can get the editor at:

It's a VB 4 for Windows program, which means it's unfortunately big (2.1M) and
requires a 486, but the interface is all nice and graphical with sliders
and all that. Oh, you can also control some Matrix 1000 parameters with
a Juno 106 if you have that. Most of the features should work with a
Matrix 6 (splits won't be stored in the librarian), but you do get all
10 of the Matrix 1000 banks included with the program...

I know of another editor/librarian for DOS, it only works with an
MPU-401 though.

Crossposted to Analog Heaven as well in case anyone there is interested.
