Fast analog sw. as VC resistor

I saw a lotta comment on here about "converting" a saw to log to make
a log response "switched resistor."

What abotu this? Since the frequency is failry well set in stone (ie
you use whatever you want, and there's no need to change it) why not
just buffer the "trigger" wave from a 555? This is ALREADY a (roughly)
log response curve - no need to change.

Just a thought...
