Fast analog sw. as VC resistor

One last thought on this before I head home for the day....

If you want to use just one chip (the 4053) for both a normal VC-pot (two
ended) and for a VC-resistor (single ended) aplication, you could just wire
it up like so for the single-ended application....

              100K      4053
Signal In o---////---o----
          |               \-----o Signal out
          \----------o----


...and wire it according to Mark's method for the normal VC-pot application
