Tommy Killanders TB303 project

Hi Folks,
just a thought, but as Tommy Killander was talking about it..
The TB303 had as far as I can make out from its service manual
a *FOUR* pole diode ladder. Because of the inherent inaccuracies
of the diode-ladder compared to a tranny variant like the Moog
it only has a response of about 14dB/Oct. Ever wondered why no
other 12dB filter ever sounded like the 303?.....
Anyway, my point is that Practical Electronics did a synth project
with a four-pole diode ladder, I think it was the Minisonic.
I have the diags somewhere, and I'm sure other people have too,
it has some serious advantages over trying to retro-engineer the
303 circuit, purely because the parts are available and the maths
has been done so mods would be easy.
Like I said, just a thought....
