Hi Erik,
Chris here again, as i now have email at home I'm able to access the 
list easier than I used to. You asked about 22pF in the ASM-1 VCO. I 
have a stand-alone version of the ASM VCO and it works fine. 
Incidentally, the tranny pair I relayed for can be any of LM394, 
MAT-02, EL2016 (a quad but WTH), a discrete pair of 2n3906 (IIRC, 
might be 2N3904*), or any other NPN discrete pir you care to use... 
I've tried it with both LM394 and 2N390n and it's fine. BTW someone 
was asking about lots of VCO's a while ago as they had a Shepard 
function generator, my circuit layout is in the most recent Modulus, 
I'll send a .GIF to anyone who wants it, or I'll sell hand-made 
undrilled PCB's to anyone that wants them for 5UKP each. I'ts a 
Eurocard sized board, but it needs to be cut into two pieces.....
