SV: lost mails

As you can see (if you can see) even mails with 8-bit ascii mail headers
will work at least in Norhern Europe. So I'm afraid that there is a nearly
braindead us-ascii-only server in some part of the mailing chain. And
most propably this "filter" is not in Europe...
So should blame the lame service providers or should
synth-diy at horus.sara.nl convert all received text to quoted-unreadable ?
