Well today I started on my ASM-1's. Tim and Chris have been working on
theirs and they invited me along to start on mine. I didn't get too far
but I have all the 100k's in and it's a good start.
Gene, I'm totaly impressed by the quality of your work. The layout is
great, the docs are very readable. Just an excelent job. 8.)
Tim did a great job sourcing the parts for us too. He's made this project
much easier, and with Chris' help (he's a wiz at this sort of stuff) things
are rolling along smoothly.
One question that came up whilst we were happily working along is how many
ASM-1's have made it into compleation? No one really knew the answer. So
which of you have made it and do you have any advice for those of us that
have lagged behind?
Oh, and any of you that are thinking about engageing in a ASM-1 project, go
for it. I don't know of a more rewarding way to get yourself such a synth.
And as I've said before the quality is just awsome. OK, I don't know what
it sounds like yet, but that will come in time. Maybe I should check out
the ASM-1 web site to see if there are any samples of it up there.
