many thanks for the reply, DAC0800 it is...damn they cost 3UKP instead of 
2UKP....
BTW has anyone built the Elektor MCV, I heard there might have been problems 
with it, if so, what is the nature of the problem, is it in the circuit 
diagram (which I'm following) or in the PCB layout they used (which I'm 
not). Also a bit of a general call for a Digisound 80-24 EPROM and the Poly 
Formant keyboard controller EPROM too. I'm trying to contact people 
(offliners, IRL'ers call them what you like) for them, but thought I'd ask 
as well. I know that Anders wants either or both, and thought I'd try to 
make sure they got added to my archive of synth-diy EPROM's. Any other 
EPROM's that belong to project stuff that I can borrow would be good. I'll 
even send a couple of copies back with the original, or if you have a copier 
I'll send you the EPROM's to blow a few for me and keep for yourselves, or 
send on readyt-blown ones of others etc. I can work this so it don't cost 
you nothing, and I provide copies basically on an exchange basis for 
equivalent devices. I can blank them anyway so it's easy for me....anything 
out there?
