Aries black boxes (frustration!)

Okay, I've been trying to decipher a bunch of Aries ciruits, and I
keep running across these black boxes that they put on various circuit
boards (whether it was to prevent knowing kit builders from making their
own modules or what). Can anyone fill me in on the exact circuitry in
them?
The ones I'm referring to are the Linear CV/Exp Current generator and
the PD-10 potted module.
I'm having a little trouble imagining what they did to the standard
current generator as it appears to have two outputs. Did they just drive
two outputs off of one transistor pair (ala normal exp generators) or did
they use a transistor for each output?
The PD-10 looks suspiciously like a bridge rectifier, but after seeing
the size of the black box on the circuit diagram, I can't imagine it
being that.
The modules in question that these are used on are the AR-317 VCO and the
AR-329 Phase-Flanger.
Thanks for any help lent my way. :)
