Synthesis Technology is under negotiations with OnChip to purchase a large quantity of Curtis Electromusic chips. In order for this to take place, Doug Curtis and I will have to "tweak" some of the older chips designs to accommodate the available processes. The chips were made in multiple fabs, and we wish to go to a single supplier.

Sales focus will shift from OnChip to Synthesis Technology. We will sell any quantity from 1 to 1000. We will offer all of the data sheets in .PDF on our site. Orders can be placed by fax, email, or WWW.

Doug and I request that you send email to me at paults at why.net on the following issues:

1) If we can offer only 5 or 6 of all of the chips made, which ones do you want? How many??
2) Are you interested in pc boards using the chips, or completed modules?
3) Several filter chips were made. Do you have a musical (or other!) preference between them?
4) In order to return the cost of re-masking, the costs per chip will probably AVERAGE $19 in quan. 1 (plus shipping). How does this sound? (pun intended). We will lower the cost for orders over 10 (any mix of parts) and higher.

Thanks for responding! I will post the 'results' in a week or so.
