What kind of microtonal are we talking here? Is this Equal Temperament
with different divisions microtonal (13 equal tones per octave, for
example) or were you going more for a Harry Partch monophony "scale"?
Either way, if you're just trying to get the CVs to the CS-15, there are
better ways. You could use a MIDI processor like Logic or Max (I know, I
suggest this style of solution for way too many problems) to remap note
data for 2 channels to your new scale by applying a preassigned amount of
pitchbend to each note event from a controller keyboard as it occurs. Plug
in a Kenton Pro 2 and you're ready to go. If you want to set up another
alternate tuning, you just change the values in your alternate tuning
template, rather than building another (or hacking into an existing)
controller keyboard.
If you're doing this more for the fun of building a keyboard, then my
solution wouldn't be for you.
