MIDI spec 2.0 canvas

Wasn't there already a 2.0 spec on the table a couple of years ago? I think
even a couple of synths (custom) were done up to show what it could do.

If I remember right, the main thing was a major speed kick, CC's more to 16
bit resolution, there was a formal "worldwide" Sysex spec...
