MIDI spec 2.0 canvas

I'm canvassing for opinions on what features/improvements people would love
to see in MIDI specification 2.0 and why. I'd be grateful for any
suggestions, moans groans and comments.

However, I'm not putting this all together into a proposal but I'd
certainly put a list of people's comments together and post it back to the
list - who knows who might take note.

I'd also be grateful if anyone could point me in any directions that will
list any propsals that are currently in the works or any discussion groups
that specialise in this.
