Yes, please, I would love to see an ASM-1, particularly done up with
these 2 front panels, the old and new ones.
I am still making a decision as to which synth to build, but after
considering the voltage standards issue I am shying away from my initial
desire to replicate PAiA's 4700 system. I do wish to interface with
other sysths, and have been led to believe that 1v/oct is much more
prevalent than linear, out in the real world.
Also, the world of enhanced module designs available out there is very
exciting to someone like me who hates design limitations. To that end, I
have decided to reformulate my goals thus:

Within a framework of 1 volt/octave, I am looking for the following:

-a VCO with VC wave symmetry, PWM, and pitch inputs, and simultaneous
sine, triangle, sawtooth, and PWM outputs...

-a VCF with VC frequency and resonance inputs, and simultaneous
    LP, BP, and HP outputs...

= an ADSR with VC A and R inputs, and repeat...

   - an analog delay with VC speed and regeneration inputs...

   - a top octave divider circuit that uses an audio square wave input
to drive the divider's clock so as to create additional tones in
the same octave as the original tone ( I could swear I saw this
   done someplace)

Along with these cornerstone circuits are other ones that I can
already tell that many of you folks hav VC LFO with several waveforms,
MIDI-to-CV, envelope follower, etc. etc. etc. =)

SO, (huff huff) if anyone has any of those special dream circuits
lying about in their archives, I'll pay for copies. All you folks kind
enough to respond so far, 'thanks again - I am still looking up those
sources. I sure appreciate being connected up with such a helpful
community!
                                         Sincerely,
                                                 CMB
