   Do you have to stick to any specific DAC?  I just received information 
from Texas Instrument about a new 10-bit D/A converter that is 
specifically made for 0-5V output.  All you have to do is supply a 2.5V 
reference and away you go.  This is easy to do with an LM336-2.5V.  DAC 
cost?  Around 3.50 I'm told.  I've supposedly got some samples coming.  
Should be fun to muck around with.  Don't have the P/N for it right now, 
email me and I'll mail it to you.  Or post it...
