Hello Brad !
I'm not that good with Ee-lec-tro-nicz ( yet ), but it seems to me 
that for your purposes it would be better to add the hold switch
between a constant current and the cv input to the VCA controlling the
output of your Prodigy..

- Anyway, i've got a readable copy of the Schematics/Service manual that i'd be
happy to copy for you and whoever else might want it..
