waveform blending?

hello all,

does anybody have a design for a waveshaper that morphs between 
waveforms, like the Serge NTO and the RSF Kobol? Or even the voltage 
controlled wave select like in the EML 101? I am intrigued by this and 
cannot even begin to imagine how it is done.
