Yes, the circuit looks very reasonable, and it should be similar to
what Curtis did in the 3340, and what NS have in their LM13700
data sheet.
I haven't tried it yet (and sorry Renee that I haven't come back
to comment yet), but it's a very interesting circuit and it has
the potential to get rid of tempco resistors for good.
