The MIDI LED lights when MIDI Messages arrive, but the Gate LED remains dark.

That´s what I did! A Friend burned the Firmware from Paia´s Website into
the Eprom. Unfortunately he´s too busy to help me. Could it be that the the
Firmwarefile contained any errors?
