Next week I'm starting the design of the "new and improved" Digisound modular synth kits and the "new and
improved" version of the Xpander. The Digisound modules are first, since I estimate the software alone in the
"X-16" (you can guess what the 16 is for) will take from Feb. to June of next year (and this is based on
hardware LFOs). The kits will start around Nov ( I need about 8 weeks to get to that point).
Please private email me on what you would like to see. The alpha-dial discussion was quite interesting. I'm
anxious to hear your inputs on things as:
1) VF versus LCD versus LED
2) pots/knobs/data sliders
3) 1/4 " x mini x banana
4) 2u vs 4U vs 6U (does it really matter?) What about depth? (my Ensoniq DP/4 processor is about 20" deep!!)
5) white on black vs black on white vs ????
Also: looking for
1) illustrators (must be able to exchange in DWG or DXF format)
2) tech writers (must be able to exchange in MS Word or PDF {read AND write})
3) beta testers (this will be work, I assure you). And you have to pass muster (and I get a credit card # in case
the stuff don't come back).
4) MC68340 programmers (assembly! C is for wimps) & HW experience
Yes, these will be paid (in one form or another) positions. Work at Home! Earn Big $$$! <grin>
So, all you folks that complain the "Big Boys" didn't get it right, now's your chance.
