Well, I didn't thought of that ! Very interesting idea... it can lead
to a very simple design... I have to have a look to the LM13700 schematics.

I do not use the linearising diodes, because I like the distorsion (especially
with a high Q). Thus the gm variations are quite important and affect the
high Q behavior of the filter.
