Well, I enjoy a regular clock now and then but some of us use other
sources as well. THere's Terrence Thomas' Midi to Pulse converter which
can do some weird stuff since you have to "tune out" parts of the MIDI
train. For those of us who have modulars the options are endless and I
think the people that you might be thinking about are the poor fellows
who have a simple store bought analog sequencer playing their SH101! But,
I'll say agian. The idea of playing scales is pretty sad in my opinion.
AND, I couldn't imagine trying to tune 16 1-10 volt knobs for a goofy scale
that every prefab already has. To me, that defeats the whole purpose.
