I got stuck at this point also, though I didn't determine that the Stancor
A-4713 transformer (I'm lost as to how to derive the specs or where to
look for them for this) was no longer made, I just gave up trying to find
them.
I built a PAIA-kit ring mod and tried to understand the two-diode thing
that seems to be what produces the product/sum frequencies after plugging
my sh101 into it and getting some great sounds: I want to just build a
switchable (routable later) ring-mod into the sh101 and other synths.
Kevin's circuit is the most elegant to start with I guess...
Let me know the answer to this as well, 'k?
