He was right: there is a VERY famous "crash" bug in the LT ROM. If you install it using their little applet AND you
did NOT close all applications windows (even those on the START task bar) the install completely DELETES the
entire W95 registry. Wheeeeee haaaaaaaaaa!

.....well I got straight on to my local Linear agent who said that
disk was withdrawn because 'there were bugs in it' and they had withdrawn it.
so I said could I have the current one, and one of the old ones. He said 'sure'
and never sent anything........which is normal.
whichis hy I buy my Linear components from Digikey in the USA. Cheaper,
quicker, and more range than the local Linear agent. Perhaps I'll try for
a disk from them! (fat chance)
