     Tony and List,

Try a company called Rackz Products. They do just what you're after.
I forget their telephone no. at the moment, but if you can get hold of
the April edition of Everyday with Practical Electronics I have a MIDI
project in that issue which uses one of their cases, and so their
contact details will be in the magazine (ShopTalk is the section to
     look in).

Otherwise, if you need any further info email me and I'll dig out the
details tonight and send them on to you tomorrow.

     Neil

Does anyone know of a good source of 19inch rack cases for putting diy
stuff in?

It really needs to be in the UK to keep the postage down. Maplin are OK for
big cases, when I say big, I mean deep, rather than height. But I'm looking
for something only about four inches deep. Maplins are too deep.

Any ideas??

Tony
