I agree a great little processor. I think the storage is actually 50,
patches can be changed via MIDI. The processors (two of them) do merge and
a lot more. Ex: mapping, channel shifting, filtering, and what Digital
MUsic calls "companding" which is actually scaling of the velocity data.
REAL handy if you don't like the way one module (perhaps in a layer)
responds to the controller velocity data.
I think there are three front panel versions out there.
1. the oldest with small buttons (get stuck once in a blue moon) and the
older software which needs more than one button push to scroll patches (I
have this one).
2. bigger buttons that work better and software is a bitr newer allowing
one stroke patch change from buttons
3 newest ones - membrane panel---- yuck..
