around $150) or a JL Cooper MSB Rev2
Paul, although i DO like the msbplus rev2, it does have some flaws in that it
is a little slow for the application. It has given me a few timing problems.
AND, with a LOT of controller data, etc, it will lock up..PLUS, it has to use
all the midi processors just to do merging, and can only merge two data
streams. Bad if you want to to everything in real time into the computer and
you have 3 ppl in your band, but only two keyboard performances are recorded..
To be honest, if you want something pretty powerful for the money, ensoniq is
now making the mx16 units, or you could go with one of the fancy JLCooper
units. Believe me, you will not regret spending the extra money in the long
run. The better units make live performance with multiple bandmembers a dreaM!
Some of them can even filter notes in real time, for when you have those
members of the band who mess up a lot and hit wrong notes by accident! :))
