Advice needed: MIDI router/switchers

Need to buy soon either a router/switcher or maybe a new MIDI interface altoghther....

a) for routers/switchers, looking at a Digital Music MX-8 (seem to be around $150) or a JL Cooper MSB Rev2
(price unknown). Any others out there?

b) for a PC (sorry!) interface, looking at the kind that connect to the parallel port and incluse the routing/switching
stuff in them. Such as the MOTU MIDI Express XT or the OpCode/MidiQuest 8port/SE. Any others??
