Mail to the UK

Just a general heads-up about sending stuff FROM the US to the UK.
1) Most mail goes through Heathrow Airport.
2) Several arrests have been made recently of Royal Mail employees stealing computers ("Hey, there's
another cow box!"). They have stolen 1 CEM order as well (I'm fairly sure).
3) US Customs requires a description of contents on the package. For the CEM chips, I USED to put
"electronic parts" which in todays world means "memory modules" or "Pentium chips".
4) From now on, I use the description "glass beads". Not totally incorrect! As a result, the last order to the UK took
only 6 DAYS to be delivered. I'm sure the 15 other people can testify it usually took 3-4 WEEKS!
So, you may want to use a "non hi-tech" description when shipping synths, x0x, whatever. How about
"space heater" ?
