Why did I get this mail?

Hi folks:

Sorry to be so completely off subject, but I recently received an
interesting e-mail and I am trying to find out why I received it. I am on
two mailing lists, the E-mu samplers list, and synth-DIY - both fine lists,
with low signal-to-noise ratios. Just a few minutes ago, I received the
following message. What I would like to know is, did anyone else receive
this message? Is it linked to the mailing lists, or is there some other
reason I received it? If you have also received this message, please
respond privately, as I don't want to take up any more space on these fine
mailing lists (I'd rather talk about the new ESI-32 option and diode-ladder
filters, personally, but I just have to know what's going on with this e-mail).

Thanks,

Sean Costello
